Welcome to the Houstonian Medical Associates

Houstonian Medical Associates was established in 1978 as The Houstonian Preventive Medicine Center. Our objectives are:

1. to prevent morbidity and mortality from disease by early identification in an annual physical examination,
2. to delay the development of disease by educating the individual about lifestyle habits which increase the risks of disease, and
3. to provide individual recommendations to reduce the risk of disease.
4. to provide state of the art comprehensive primary care with an emphasis on prevention.

Over the past 30 years, we have prevented many cases of cancer (especially colon and prostate), and coronary artery disease through early detection. These findings were all in asymptomatic executives whose disease, if fully developed, would have been an immeasurable personal and economic loss.

We take pride in the fact that we have been in the forefront of preventive medicine since 1978.
